Public Relations Assistant

Provide strong On-site PR & Communications Support;
- Provide on-site PR support including: greeting groups, executing food service for groups, dealing with general customer complaints and providing excellent customer service
- Assist with our Market Research Program, including but not limited to: conducting on-site surveys, tallying results, and generating reports
- Provide general First Aid
- Assist in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for staff, animals and visitors through ushering bird and animal presentations and assisting in Guest Services as needed
- Assist the Sales department with the execution of onsite corporate picnics ensuring scheduled events are carried out effectively and on time
- Follow and implement lost child procedures when required
- Ensure proper park signage for presentations and events
- Behind the Scenes, Wake Up the Wild Tour- Provide excellent customer service and assist with the facilitation of visitors during the tour
- Fulfilling administration duties as required, answering phones in the office and preparing additional promotional reports
- Generate content for internal staff newsletter “Cheetah Chat” – responsible for producing, printing and distributing
- Perform any other duties as assigned by PR Department
- Assist Sales Department with Corporate Picnic programme on event days
Must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Must be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds.
Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Weekend work required.
