The park continues to operate with additional COVID-19 safety measures in place.
The effects of COVID-19 are widespread, and consequently, for the health and safety of our animals, staff and visitors, the park had to make adjustments to its operations, animal displays and programs. As part of our commitment and shared responsibility, we ask that all individuals visiting African Lion Safari follow Public Health guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread.
The park will continue to provide guests with additional updates regarding park operations on the website and social platforms.
Community involvement is integral to the survival of many businesses including our wildlife park. African Lion Safari is a privately owned company. Guests purchasing tickets to our wildlife farm fund all park operations, efforts in our breeding programmes, research projects and the conservation of wildlife here at the park and in range countries.
We thank you for your loyalty and continued support.
DRIVE THROUGH ONLY EXPERIENCE
June 8, 2020
African Lion Safari is excited to announce that its drive through Game Reserves, situated on 250 acres, will be open to the public on June 9th 2020! Guests have the opportunity to get closer to majestic birds and animals from around the world, as you drive along 9 kilometers of trail in the comfort of your own vehicle.
The park recognizes that the 2020 season will be a modified experience for guests, without access to the splash pad, walking areas, picnic areas, tours and presentations. Amid the uncertainty of COVID-19, African Lion Safari does not expect this area of the park to be open this season.
The health and safety of our employees, visitors and animals is African Lion Safari’s top priority and as such, the park has implemented new processes to ensure compliance with Public Health guidelines:
African Lion Safari continues to stay connected with federal and provincial health officials to monitor this unprecedented time. The park will provide guests with additional updates regarding park operations as required.
Guests are strongly encouraged to review our COVID-19 FAQ’s prior to their visit to ensure an enjoyable day “On Safari! ™”
