Giraffe

overview

Giraffes are the tallest land animals, known for their long necks, towering legs, and distinctive coat patterns of chestnut-brown patches. Native to the savannahs and woodlands of Africa, their unique markings provide excellent camouflage among trees and foliage. These gentle herbivores are highly social, often moving in loosely organized groups, and use their remarkable height to reach leaves and twigs that other animals cannot. Despite their peaceful nature, giraffes can defend themselves with powerful kicks!
