Red Kangaroo

overview

Red kangaroos are the largest marsupials (“pouched animal”) in the world, native to Australia. Known for their powerful hind legs and long tails, they are exceptional jumpers, capable of covering great distances in a single bound. Males, often called “boomers,” are recognized by their reddish fur and impressive size, while females, or “flyers,” are smaller and typically grayish in color. They have two fore limbs with small claws, two muscular hind limbs and a strong tail used as a tripod to stand.
