Fallow Deer

overview

Coats are natural white, black, reddish and “porcelain”.  Summer coats are smooth and fine; winter coats are thicker.  White spots appear all year but are more visible during warmer months.  Only males have antlers that can reach up to 70cm in height.  Very active both day and night.  During breeding season males hold “rutting stands” to defend groups of females.
