Addax
overview
The Addax, also known as the White antelope or Screwhorn antelope, is a rare and elegant desert-dwelling species native to the Sahara. Recognizable by its pale coat that reflects sunlight and its spiral horns, the addax is perfectly adapted to harsh dry environments, surviving on minimal water and feeding on desert vegetation. These antelopes are highly social, forming small herds and often traveling at night to avoid the desert heat.
