African Lion Safari is dedicated to providing a high level of customer service to all of its visitors, including people with disabilities. The park strives at all times to provide its goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. African Lion Safari is committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our goods and services and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place and in the similar way as other visitors.
African Lion Safari is committed to offering a fair and equitable employment experience to all applicants, and will accommodate people with disabilities during the recruitment, assessment and hiring process.
African Lion Safari’s Accessible Policies are intended to meet the requirements under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation 191/11, as well as its ongoing obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code respecting non-discrimination. Admission and Support Persons
African Lion Safari extends a 25% discount off admission to people with disabilities as well as to one accompanying support person. There are no discounts on tickets for the Safari Tour Bus.
Safari Tour Bus
African Lion Safari provides air conditioned, educationally guided tours through the Game Reserves (available for an additional charge) and a number of buses are wheelchair accessible. Safari Tour Buses cannot accommodate scooters. Please inquire about wheelchair accessible buses when purchasing Safari Tour Bus tickets at Jungle Junction.
African Lion Safari welcomes trained service animals on property, however restrictions do apply. Please call the Main Office at 519-623-2620 PRIOR to your visit so that we may review the policies and procedures with you and help make your day a safe and memorable one.
The ultimate goal of African Lion Safari is to meet and surpass customer expectations while serving customers with disabilities. Comments on our goods and services regarding how well those expectations are met are welcomed and appreciated.
